1969 PORSCHE 912
The Porsche 912 eased the transition between the 356 and 911. It had all the modern developments of the 911 and the tried and trusted power plant of a 356 proven flat four 1582 cc 90 bhp engine. They certainly hum along and given they are some 113 kg lighter than a 911 are somewhat more nimble too.
Owning a Porsche certainly gets in to your blood the last owner being a good case in point. having purchased this lovely 912 way back in 1982. Throughout his 30 years of ownership. a great deal of work was undertaken. resulting in the thoroughly good and solid car offered here today.
This matching numbers and original floored car has been very nicely repainted in its original period colour of Ossi blue and sits comfortably on a pristine set of Fuchs.
The interior is largely original with the black leatherette and basket weave seats being in superb order. There are none of the usual dash board facia cracks and the carpets are unworn having been replaced I understand in its more recent past.
Now UK registered. this car has been fully checked over and
serviced by marque specialist PRS Ltd. a great little car and an ideal way to start your classic Porsche journey.
