This is a top-of-the-line 1970 Chevrolet C10 CST pickup with big block power and plenty of upgrades inside and out. So take a look at the value price now because this one might not last long enough to read the whole listing.


That paint you're staring at isn't black. it's black cherry. That means it looks dark as midnight until the sunlight hits it. and then some deep red tones start to come out. In other words. you won't be able keep them away at the car show. CST (Custom Sport Truck) was the top trim that would be replaced by the Cheyenne in later years. and that means plenty of brightwork that goes well beyond the big bumpers. You get some nice extra body stainless. including the upper and lower body side accents. In fact. the lower one still wears its factory-correct 70s-cool wood strip within the brightwork. and this premium design touch continues on the tailgate. too. Plus. if you like wood. it's a nice touch in the bed floor since you don't see very often on the fleetside trucks. And keeping with the classic style there are even Chevy rally wheels.


Inside is a nice mix of performance and comfort. Driver and passenger get plush individual seats with a cup holder center console in between. Your left hand rests on the Grant GT three-spoke steering wheel. and it will be hard to get your right one away from that shiny B&M sports shifter. An upgraded stereo is headed by an AM/FM/cassette. but the rest of the original pieces are still in place like the hear/defrost controls.


One look under the hood. and you know this pickup has some fire-breathing power. That's a 454 cubic-inch V8 that's been enlarged even further by a bored . 040 kit. but the performance improvement don't stop there. More upgrades include a Demon 850 CFM four-barrel racer carburetor. Edelbrock Performer Air-Gap high-rise intake. TRW rods. high volume oil pump. hydraulic lifters. hardened pushrods. 3/4 race cam. The motor exhales with a sweet rumble thanks to Hooker Super Comp ceramic headers that connect to a Flowmaster dual exhaust. So yes. this is one pickup has the kind of power that makes muscle cars jealous. Just to make sure it can showcase its full performance on the streets. the TH400 three-speed automatic has been built to take 1. 00 hp and has a 2400 stall converter installed. This sends power to the stout 12-bolt Positratction rear end running a 3. 73 ratio. which is quite useful in a big power machine like this. These C10s are really sought-after because of their trailing arm rear suspension. which helps makes these Chevys hold the road better than most other vintage pickups. This is great for a better ride. and a welcomed component to get the most out of this high horsepower truck. But this also has some nice daily driver features. too. such as the power steering. front disc brakes. and modern BF Goodrich tires at all four corners.


This is one pickup that has had a lot invested to keep it looking beautiful and vintage on the outside. Of course once you fire up that monster big block that lies within. all everyone else will see is a dark intimidating muscle car eater. Hurry up because all of this cannot last long at this price.
