The 2002 series put BMW on the road to becoming the giant it is today by pumping life back into the Bavarian Motor Werks' production slump and helped give birth to the now massively popular sport sedan category.

This particular car is a beautifully preserved specimen and comes from a very meticulous. knowledgeable and dedicated 2002 BMW enthusiast that has owned several 2002's and he purchased the car from an equally fastidious BMW devotee.
The car has been maintained and kept as only enthusiasts could and only true fellow aficionados could appreciate; only seen the sun. never driven in the rain. garaged and never left in the elements. serviced regularly. you get the idea. Over the past several years. multiple enthusiasts have commented about this particular 2002 being an extremely nice and well cared for specimen.

Cosmetically. this 1974 is fantastic; the Inka Orange paint is one of the most desired colors on these models and it really shines. bursts and contrasts wonderfully with the gently worn. like new. supple black interior.

The mechanical health mirrors the cosmetic. with a reliable 2. 0L carb that fires right up. steering and brakes that are tight and responsive and the 4 speed transmission shifts very precise with a healthy clutch. Being a Texas native. one of the things that highly impressed me was exactly how well the A/C works during these 100 degree ( and higher ) days !!

I can remember. as a kid. riding around the Dallas area with my Dad in one of his many Porsches naming off the year. make. and model of “any” cool car we saw.   That fueled my obsession with cars very early in life.
