This 1976 Cadillac Seville is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. In 1976 things were beginning to go a totally different way. smaller. Jobs and Waz were in their garage building a computer that would fit on a desk VS a whole room. The car industry was no different with the invasion of the much smaller Japanese and European imports the big three were struggling with what to do. Cadillac. which had been the benchmark of quality since its inception. was even feeling the crunch. They decided to build a mid size model based off the X platform which was actually the first time for them to use an original Chevy based component in a Cadillac. This 76 has lived a pampered life with an odometer reading of less than 55000 miles you can tell this was a weekend joy ride. The silver paint still shows nicely with the black tinted windows giving it an updated look. The chrome spokes give it a sophisticated feel with the vinyl top only adding to the luxurious look. With splashes of chrome on the bumpers. the outside of this Cadillac blends some new with old. Open the hood and a state of the art motor of its time still looks great sitting under the hood. The electronic fuel injection even though one of the first of its kind still starts right up with a simple turn of the key. Getting an astonishing 23 MPG out on the highway is something that no other Cadillac had done before. Open the door and you see an interior that is all Cadillac with no compromises. The Leather seats are plush and as comfortable as any lazy boy and even climate control at your finger tips.
