Current customer rating:
Great great opportunity for someone looking for a 71 roadrunner 340. I bought a package of cars about six monthes ago and trying to restore multiple cars at the same time has gotten to me. Im an old man what was i thinking. nyways this car is a complete rust free matching numbers 340 roadrunner that is on its way towards completion. I just got the car back a few days ago from body and paint. We put on an AMD quarter because the original was not nice. Otherwise the car retains its born with sheetmetal. The cars paintwork(Like all my cars)was done faithfully. This was an original undercoated car which means it left the factory with undercoating and overspray on the underside. The bottom of this car was not over restored which tendsto be the norm lately. I have been playing with these cars for a long time and am not a proponent of over restoring. I like the cars as best and faithful to the original as I can make them. I am listing this car today because I am probably a year away from finishing it and if it doesnt find a home ill certainly keep it. Actually. I love this car.
So we have a complete and i mean complete matching numbers car. everything. The motor was just rebuilt by Scottsdale auto machine shop and I believe them to be the best engine builders in the southwest. When they got the motor it had never been out of the car and was standard bore. He used the best of everything to rebuild it . . I neglected to mention that i spent a small fortune on paint and bodywork. I also have the complete legendary interior including new front and rear door panels. new complete seat upholstery and headliner. About 1000 to legendary. I have the original thermoquad freshly rebuilt as well as the matching number distributor. Also the matching number 26 inch radiator and shroud. I have a restored front grill as well as restored taillights with new lenses. I have alot alot of parts for this as i have been buying in bulk as im restoring several cars at once. I also have a complete set of brand new 15 rally wheels with NOS center caps and trim rings. Also the correct 450 date coded 15 steelie as the spare. A very very pricey wheel on its own. Steering column has been rebuilt as well as the power stering pump and gearbox. even the hard to find original air cleaner is there. I have alot of the parts for the car. You get almost every part you will need to finish this car. all glass great shape and date coded. I have a clear title and the original fender tag. this was an AM radio bench seat column auto 340 with 323 gears. pretty simple stuff. Black strobe stripes. This car is electric just siting in my driveway. Esentially i want for the car what I have invested in it without the cost of the car. you get that free. If you know what you are doing and want a 340 roadrunner with all the hard work down this might be for you. you can certainly contact me with any questions even stupid ones if thats all you have. this is a seriously cool car pretty close to completion. I can put the engine and trans as well as the parts in the car for shipping,
