For sale is a 1985 Austin mini mayfair 998 cc. Recent Mo T with no advisories. It has undergone a full re-commission including full exterior re-spray in Jet Black 2 k paint. I have invoices that list all parts bought and fitted. these include-
Clutch Kit Starter Motor Window and Door seals Chrome trim Drive seals Lights and lenses Fuse box Coil HT Leads Points condenser and dizzy cap Head liningcarpets Uprated water pump 2 Tyres Battery and Clamp Mirrors Door and Boot locks
And the list goes on. totalling approximately £1400 excluding paint. It has a performance inlet manifold fitted. with LCB and RC 40 exhaust. the back box has been repaired as it did have a hole in it. The car was bought as a rolling shell with boxes of parts as the previous owner had intentions of doing it himself but didn't get round to doing it. He did inform me that it had had some welding done. and that it was carried out by a mini specialist.
On request I can send pictures of the rebuild from when I bought the vehicle to now. including any specific picture requests and of all the invoices.
This is a great little car to drive. I am just back from a road trip in her this weekend in which I covered over 200 miles trouble free.
Again this is being listed as a re-commission rather than a restoration. so please don't expect a blingy engine bay or expect to be winning first place in a concourse competition. It is a user that will put a huge grin on your face and turn heads as you drive down the road.
