1951 Nash for sale
Current customer rating: (296 votes ) based onThe mileage is actually 81870. I apologize for the short. details/ description. Car is only being sold for current personal reasons. It is tucked away in the corner of my garage. and was going to be my Winter project. So. please don't hesitate to ask questions. Car can be taken out of garage for more pictures upon request if necessary. It has a brand new 6 volt battery that is kept on a battery tender. so she will start right up for moving. I start her up a couple times a month.

On Aug-25-16 at 15:12:33 PDT. seller added the following information:One last update for the Nash. I had the tranny serviced. and it shifts great all ranges. and reverse as expected like these older Hydra Matics did. Engine runs smooth and quiet. and has never even had a tune up or any attention in Many Many yrs. As close as I can find out it sat in a garage for at least 30 yrs. Interior is all orig. . as you can see in pics. but the foam in the seats is somewhat crusty. No tears or flaws in the orig. interior with the exception of driver door arm rest is loose. and headliner above rear window is coming loose in a section. All glass good. windows work up/ down. but need attention because of old dried up channels/ felt etc. It has an oil leak that has been diagnosed as the fuel pump gasket. otherwise no leaks. The car will come with that minor leak issue!!!!!!!!! Otherwise I will immediately have it fixed if I end up not selling it. I will get my asking price. which is reasonable) or I will gladly keep it. Rust issues are; 1 small area on body. as seen in new pics. left rear corner of trunk . (something obviously laid there for a long time. probably damp rags. cardboard box. or something like that. cause rest of trunk bottom is good. ) and driver floor pan by door is rusted. rest of floor is solid. Undercarriage. frame. etc. is actually pretty darn decent. Of coarse she needs shocks. probably has orig. ) and tires are in great shape. almost look new. but they are old bias ply. ( I think they put new tires on it right before in went into storage.
On Aug-25-16 at 15:31:49 PDT. seller added the following information:I knew I would forget something. The orig. starter button is the gear shift lever. ny Nash guy knows that. It does not work. and has been diagnosed as a switch located on the steering column under the hood. I have not found 1 yet. but am told they are available. I have a picture of 1 I got from Nash club. That is what you see in a couple of interior pics is the make shift generic starter button. It works just fine.
