Model 42 Sedan

One of the finest cars of the classic era and a true "Classic" as recognized by the Classic Car Club of America (CCCA). Pierce Arrow automobiles were produced in Buffalo New York from around 1904 to around 1938. This is a model "42" 5 passenger sedan powered by a big straight eight engine teamed to a three speed manual transmission. It features a formal roof with landau bars. wood spoke artillery wheels. dual side mounts. rear trunk. driving lights. turn signals. brake lights and wide whitewalls. Listed in the Pierce Arrow Registry. It's a real beauty!

Exterior:

Burgundy body with black fenders and black formal top. Cream pinstriping. The body panels are straight and clean with very good fit and finish. Doors shut nice and solid. Very good glass. Good to very good chrome. Overall a very sharp exterior.

Interior:

Correct light brown broadcloth upholstery showing minimal wear. Beautiful wood dash and door panel trim. Nice headliner. Very good to excellent hardware trim. instruments and steering wheel.

Mechanics:

Runs and drives great! The Pierce starts easily (warm or cold). shifts good. handles as best it can and stops pretty good for it's massive size. Everybody that sees it smiles!

Note: Clear Florida title - Odometer states "exempt" on title due to age

A $1. 00 down payment is due within 48 hours via Paypal. bank to bank wire transfer or cashiers check. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of auction ending. If other arrangements are needed please call to discuss prior to placing a bid. Florida state sales tax will be collected on any vehicle which will be registered in Florida.
