1963 Ford Consul Capri GT Resoration Project for sale

Many thanks for taking the time to look at my Classic Ford Consul Capri GT. nbsp;one of only 2003 ever produced by Fords. I have been asked many times already 'is this a genuine GT'? 100% YES. It still has its original and very nice 3 letters and 3 number registration plate.

Please be aware that this auction is for the 'Deposit to Own the finished Capri' and NOT the out-right car as is.

The reason I have decided to go this route is so that the owner can at this stage decide on the finished Colour and Engine Spec and attention to any other detail.

The shell is stripped. has already had all the rot cut out and replaced with proper panels including NOS inner wings (correct GT ones). As you can see its now on the spit having had its underside carefully media blasted prior to etched primmer (now completed. pic 5) and then paint on top of stone chip. All of the suspension has also been blasted ready for paint too.

I own a motorsport team and this is a side line we operate. This is our 3rd Consul Capri which we will carry on with to the original spec. if nobody steps forward. This will be in the original Light Blue and Ermin White Roof. Engine and Gearbox will be stripped and rebuilt. Interior brought back to original condition and any thing that needs re-chroming. re-building. re-triming will be done.

To give you an idea of costs. the above spec will be around £11. 00. 00. If you decide on upgrades such as Blue Printed Engine. Leather Interior Etc then the price will go up to suit.

The White C. C. GT in the last pic is my own pride and joy and that will be a £18k car once finished (BUT SORRY NOT FOR SALE) but is to show you the standard we work to.
