For sale is my August 1974 HQ 253 V 8 3-speed manual Belmont Ute . Sydney built. I bought this ute due to it's original condition with the plan to turn it into a Sandman replica. Have since bought a genuine Sandman so no longer required. This ute has been an inland country QLD car most of it's life and has survived incredibly well. It was originally owned by a court judge and used around his hobbie farm before being purchased by it's second owner who was living in QLD at the time. It was later transported to Perth via truck. It was used as a work vehicle for 3 years and then parked up. I found it in farm shed North-east of Perth around 6 years ago. Has WA registration to mid 2017 so can be driven anywhere and runs beautifully. Body is very very very good. 3 tiny bits of

superficial

rust over the entire body. Original paint which is thin in places on roof and tailgate. There are minor dents here and there but considering it has been a working vehicle for 40 years has survived well. Interior is very tidy with seat. door trims. dash pad. floor vinyl & roof lining all in excellent condition. Original Air Chief radio is in good working order. Owners manual. Has power steering and a tow bar.

Excellent HQ utes are VERY RARE these days. Suit HQ collector. enthusiast. Sandman replica. drop a huge Chev in it (no engineering required). daily driver or restore to original.

Inspections are welcome by appointment. located 5 minutes from Perth CBD. A

refund deposit. You are bidding to buy not look. Happy to assist interstate buyers by delivering to transport depot of your arranging. Full payment to be made before ute is released. Can also store under cover for a reasonable period of time. This is a very regrettable sale - life is heading in a different direction now.

Buyer will also have first option to purchase the following - 308 engine. M 21 V 8 4 speed gearbox & shifter. pair of black bucket seats and GTS console. GTS steering wheels and GTS wheels.
