You are bidding on a very nice 1979 example of this rare vehicle. It has 11months Mot. I purchased the vehicle November 2010 having owned a couple in my youth. July 2011 it was hit on the front passenger bumper and headlamp area in front of the wheel by a vehicle jumping a red light. the bonnet was also damaged. The Insurance company classed the car a write off due to no parts being available. As the car had come in from Italy it did not suffer with the rust gremlins of the British imports.  The Insurance paid me my classic premium for a no blame claim and I bought the salvage back. I set about rebuilding the car as it was far to good to scrap. It took a while as I got a bit fed up now and then. Eventually it was up and running and I applied to VOSA for a Vehicle Identity Check to put the Matra back on the road. Following this I decided to have the car resprayed in it's original factory colour scheme of metallic black with green bumpers. and very nice it looks to.
