Escort rs 2000 custom.

Northern Ireland 1 st registered in 1977 then u. k. In 1982. hence X reg plate.

m. o. t. d till start of 2017 with no advisories. H. P. I. Clear with certificate.

2 keys for car but had to change boot lock so 2 different keys for that.

New 13"x 6" wheels with 185/60/13 tyres. /

New 2" exhaust and four branch manifold. /

Has had a couple of small welding repairs over the years but very little . ooks like chassis is totally original and Unwelded. inner wings etc spot on. /

When I bought this escort the doors had some filler at bottoms . ings similar and rear arches had a very small amount of filler . ot a lot overall and paint was a bit tired . o decided to get new door skins . ew wings . front panel and rear arches. his way the car would have no filler or rust areas. then had car painted in Venetian red . ar was stripped fully when painted . ose cone . indows out . oors . oot . onnet off. ll door rubbers etc removed and some replaced. he bodywork panels and paint cost at least £ 5. 00 so wasn't a cheap job. paint has great finish. /

Lowering blocks with single leaf rear springs. ther than blocks . uspension appears fairly standard. /

Standard 2 litre pinto engine . ith 5 speed box. Drives well for age. /

Good oil pressure. /

Bad bits. /

Engine runs little bit rough . t's had an oil and filter change so may need plugs . oints etc. osch distributer possibly carb but have set of 40's . anifold and cables to go with car. /

Temp. gauge sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. /

Indicators same as above since painted. robably bad earth. will try to fix with new relay first. /

Interior beige in good condition. s per picture. ront seats a little saggy but not to much. arpets all good with new mats etc.

No radio or Ariel as was on wing and didn't fit new one. /

Centre consul has a bit wear around gear gator hole . s in hole slightly bigger but not really much. /

Couple of bits and bobs needed for interior finishing. othing much .

A very straight and solid car. not concours obviously but a very nice example with very little needed. /
