CONVERTIBLE SERIES 3 1985 RX7 IMMACULATE & VERY RARE!. 159. 00kms. factory 'sunrise red'. 12 months NSW rego with plates included

Now some of you may have seen this car advertised earlier in the year. where I had lots of interest though serious buyers were put off because it wasn't engineered as a convertible because the conversion was done approx. 20yrs ago when engineer certificates weren't so required or available. Well. at great expense I now have this car FULLY ENGINEERED with a COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE which is stated on the NSW rego papers (see pic) so this car is now registered as a 100% road legal Convertible. now and forever. so no rego hassles ever again. I also had sincere interest from interstate buyers. with Victorians in particular. and I went through the entire process to discover that it is able to be registered in Victoria now that it has this compliance certificate/engineers report with only needing a RWC etc from that state. (Interestingly. I bought it from VIC and still have the VIC rego papers)Anyway. now this side of things is sorted. I'm sure that it won't be long before this vert finds a new home.
. these convertibles are very hard to find especially in such amazing condition. Huge amounts of time. effort and money has gone into this high quality convertible conversion. (chassis strengthening. grafting on a 626 boot lid etc etc)I have just had replaced. new oil & filter. coolant. brake & clutch fluid. front brake hoses. alt & air con belts. spark plugs. wiper blades. battery. air & fuel filters. clear plastic windows in soft top. upgraded air con with new cold gas. The 12A motor runs really well with no smoke or oil leaks and starts first time everytime hot or cold. I believe the motor has been rebuilt at some stage as every gasket is coated in lots of orange gasket sealant. Manual Gearbox is smooth & tight.  Being the Series 3 with larger factory alloy wheels. 4x wheel disc brakes and all the power options makes this a fantastic and fun car to drive. If you are after a S3 VERT with not a cent to spend. or a SCHMICK S3 VERT to put a weapon motor in. THIS IS IT.
