1949 Cadillac Series 62 4 door sedan. The body is in very nice condition with no major damage or repairs I can see. t appears most if not all the original gray paint is intact. t does show some fading and delamation in areas. All the chrome trim and stainless parts and pieces are intact and in decent condition with some pitting on some of the pot metal pieces. he front bumper has a split in it at the passenger side corner and is slightly out of alignment. All the doors hood and trunk lid open and close as they should. The drivers side and passenger side front door glass both have a crack in the glass. The grille and all related trim are all nice as well. The car does run and drive the engine is the 331 V 8 with the Hydromatic automatic transmission. The engine and trans show some very minor oil seepage but no major leaks or other issues I can see. The car has manual brakes and steering. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts with an alternator. The interior is all intact with the only issue I can see is the front seat has been recovered at one time and needs to be repaired again. he speedometer. adio. lock. orn. nterior dome lights all are not working. lso the steering wheel has a wrap on it. he steering wheel underneath has the bakelite coming apart from the sun over the years. there may be other issues these are all the ones I see. The car was put on a rack and I do have pictures from underneath the vehicle I don`t see any rust issues any where. the car is solid. The car is located in central California and is available for inspection please contact me. Please ask any and all questions and I will try to answer them all. The car belongs to a family member and I may refer the questions to them. The car is drivable and can be driven home however I would recommend a transport pick-up as the California title is under non op status. nd tires have been on the car for about 9 years. nd have some weather cracking.
