For sale is this RHD vw bay window double cab 1979 .   It has undergone a complete restoration since being imported from South Africa in 2010. Since then the body was completely stripped to enable a complete respray in vw chinchilla grey with new weather stripping all round. The vehicles drop gates were imported at great cost from high end klassic fab (the best in the world) with zero dents and are as straight as an arrow.   The rear cargo area has also had custom made wooden bed protectors that enhance it enormously and make it fully useable if so desired without damaging the load bed itself.   The interior has also had a total transformation with a full retrim carried out in deep red colour with contrasting piping and full carpets throughout .   The vehicle has been tastefully lowered and sits on polished Porsche replica wheels all round. A brand new steering box and links etc have also been used so steering is precise and true.   The 1500cc engine has also undergone a full rebuild so no problems there either.   The vehicle lends itself to either being used as a daily driver or show vehicle or compliment it with your own company logo or sign writing to maximise its potential whilst being driven.   It can be viewed in Bristol prior to purchase if required which I highly recommend to fully appreciate this now rare and appreciating classic vw with the added benefit of being RHD.
