1971 Citroen DS21 Pallas

DS 21 Pallas for sale. Citromatic 4 speed transmission. No rust. Lived in southern California from new until I bought it in 2004. Runs. shifts and drives very well. Will post list of repairs done this evening. Has been in my heated garage and driven in sunny weather only on (unsalted roads) here on Nantucket island ever since. Very good condition. Will post new photographs tonight. I plan on driving the car to Citroen Owners club convention June 14-16 in Saratoga NY. Car can be test driven and viewed there or here on Nantucket.

work done: DEC 2004 daniel's garage (LA California)work on ds 21 185. 64 mi replaced ignition switch with good used one repair starter switch in dash.

new rear suspension boots.

new oil pressure sender.

new front brake pads.

new parking brake pads.

new spark plugs.

new ignition wires.

repair choke in carb.

replace engine mounts.

replaced all belts.

heater core cleaned out and repaired. heater valve.

new top radiator hose.

new thermostat.

new bypass hose under manifold.

adjust valves.

new fuel pump.

new reverse light switch new AMTECH seat belts new carpeting june 2005 new window guides. rocker seal June 2006 painted bleu d'orient . filled rockers and other rust prone area with Mike Sanders Schuttsfett new windshield Aug 2006 install 075 idle jet in secondary throat instead of 050 July 2007 installed new accumulator. recharged f+r suspension spheres used frnts were bought from brad nauss

mar 2009 ds 21 pulled engine/trans. changed 3 rd 4 th syncro. 4 th was good 3 rd was worn. nut on pinion shaft was loose. tightened with home made spanner and peened nut to shaft. replaced timing chain. old one was not worn. cleaned tensioner and crankcase vent filter on lower rt rear side of case. cleaned muck from pvc orifice at carb base.

new cam seal. cam front bearing. lower pvc breather hose. new clutch plate. clutch pilot bearing. hydr pump belts. CR belt replaced. clutch pivot moved fwd 2 mm w/ washer. crc orings. and orings at plate to control trasmission. set timing to 20 deg crank/(set at 10 deg mark on cam pully. flushed cooling system. changed lower rad hose. changed coolant w/ Zerex coolant. greased front suspension. adj. park brakes. fixed leaking hydr brake line on rt caliper nov 2009 ds 21 installed recharged front rt and left suspension spheres. and Main accumulator tested OK 11/09 by David Cossit. The suspension spheres were lightly used front spheres bought in 07 from brad nauss and and had David Cossitt recharge them in 07. The main accumulator sphere was bought new from brad naus in 07.

I am still looking for the small piece of carpeting that covers the area around the foot brake mushroom.

I had taken it out to clean it and now can't find it. will keep looking for it.

June 2010 ds 21 91626 mi work done- new fuel pump installed. drain from CRC blown out to clear to stop leak from indexing hole. new flex for exhaust welded in. oil sender is 10 mmx 1. 5 french into custom t adaptor to allow use of 1/8 npt oil pressure guage. refit driver door interior panel,
