Hi everyone-1962 Beetle in Dove Blue

Since buying it 9 years ago from Sweeden so LHD a comprehensive restoration has been carried out including:

Body off pan to fit new pan outers. heater channels and 4 new arches Full window out respray 6 volt to 12 volt conversion professionally doneNew TMI headlining. seat covers and carpets New BRM wheels fitted MWSLowered-beam adjusters in front turned splines at the backBrakes fully rebuilt inc all new lines. wheel cylinders etc1600TP engine fitted- has had a top end rebuild with addition of twin 40 carbs. 009 dizzy. ported and flowed heads and inlet manifold. lightened flywheel. nbsp;alternator conversion. painted tinware. New bumpers and  chrome trims.

Will be sold with MOT March 2014 and tax April 2014 (tax exempt so free anyway)

I have done these subtle mods to make the beetle how I want it. however I've got all the original parts; wheels and tyres. engine etc so could easily go back to being

 a really solid stocker if you preferred.

Selling due to work commitments and having  a young child means I never get to use it anymore (less than 50 miles in last 2 years)

Bit of a shot in dark. I now own this car (have done for the past couple of years). Still going strong. Bought it from a dealer in Norfolk. Do you have any further history?
