Let me start off by saying that I am listing this car for a good friend of mine. I have known him and of this car for 25 years. I will be able to answer any questions you have on the car. or can give you the owners phone number if you would like to speak to him about the car. The car was purchased April  3 1976. in AZ at the Classic Car Auctions of America. The Hudson was then moved up to Idaho. where it has remained to this day. The owner of the car has been a long time collector of Hudson cars. and over the past couple of years has been selling cars to reduce the size of his collection. This is the first time this car has been up for sale. for over 35 years. The car is a 1936 Hudson Deluxe 2 Door Brougham. With 36. 50 original miles. Most of the paint on the car is the original paint from the factory. with just the fenders being resprayed. The paint is showing it's age. with chips. scratches and checking of the old paint. The body is in very good condition with only a dent on the drivers side rear fender above the tire. (see pictures) And a dent on top of the hood. The trunk floor. trunk lid. interior floors. door sills. doors and running boards are all rust free. Running boards are still covered in the factory rubber mats. All of the trim and chrome on the car are original and are in good shape for their age. Chrome pieces show light blistering in the chrome finish. All of the glass is in very good shape. with no chips or scratches. The original interior was removed a few years ago and used as a pattern to have a new interior installed. New headliner. carpet. floor mats and seats all restored to original. The dash still has the factory wood grain on it. And the dash gauges are in mint condition. All dash knobs. horn button and knobs on all interior handles are in mint condition as well. Tires are old. they work fine for short drives. But if the car is going to be driven long distance they should be replaced. Engine has been detailed and serviced and is in very good running condition. Brakes. cooling system and fuel system has all been gone through. Everything on the car is in working order. From head lights. gauges. heater to tail lights. It all works as it should. Overall the car for the most part is a survivor. Having never been taken apart and restored. It offers the new owner a chance to purchase a car that is still very original. With all of your auction companies setting up auctions based on barn find and survivor cars. There is no doubt that there is a demand for original cars. And this car fits that bill. If you are looking to do a concourse restoration. then this would be the car to start with. If driving and enjoying a original Hudson is what you want. then please take a good look at this one. You would be very hard pressed to find another car on a Hudson platform. not a Terraplane In the same condition. Please email me with any questions you have.
