1961 Dodge Pioneer 2 door Hardtop- 413 V 8.
The 1961 Dodge Pioneer was one of the most radical styled Dodges ever produced.
Only Produced for one year in this style the 1961 Dodge Pioneer is very Rare and are becoming very desirable.
Just take a few minutes and look at the extraordinary design of this car.
This Los Angles. California built Dodge Pioneer is one of the rarest around.
This Pioneer has been beautifully restored.
It is equipped with a rare 413 V 8 engine. with the correct 413 stamped casting # of 41 designating a 413 engine. and the correct casting # for a 413.
It is also equipped with factory Air. factory Power Steering and a Push Button automatic transmission.
The AC is charged. but needs a switch installed to turn the compressor on and off.
All glass is good with no cracks.
The speedo is inop.
The body is Solid. as is the frame. torque boxes. inner rockers and floor pans.
I did find a small patch panel in the trunk. The car also has new dual exhaust from the manifolds to the rear bumper. The paint is about 4 years old and shows very well as you can see from the pictures.
The chrome and stainless are all excellent.
The interior is also about 4 years old and is as new. including the carpet. headliner. seats and door panels.
It has installed a high amp AM-FM Radio and CD player under the dash.
I just installed new 18 in and 20 in. Coys polished wheels with speed rated radials to give the Dodge a more current touring look.
The original wheels. tires and hub caps are also available if you prefer over the Coys.
This Dodge runs. drives and stops very nice.
