1971 Lotus Other

Uniquely restyled Europa. Project started in late '80's to craft a beautiful street legal auto crosser. Project halted after body/paint work in mid '90 s and car was parked in a dry garage until my purchase in 2014. Essentially no miles on car since paint work.

Engine: 807 Renault hemi. . 020 os Venolia Pistons. Ported head with new valves. bronze guides. springs and push rods. Polished/balanced crankshaft with Vandervell bearings. Dual 45 mm SKN side draught carbs. SKN are Weber clones and use Weber jets. etc. Complete SKN parts and service manual included. Brand new ITG foam filter. Beautiful SS header with Super Trapp. Holley fuel pump and regulator with all brand new Aeroquip -8 hose. Recored radiator. New clutch assembly.
The Renault hemi head motor is a very strong and reliable engine. This motor with these extensive modifications is estimated to produce 140 hp. Renault motors in street trim produce between 125 and 165 horsepower. The Renault transmission is bullet proof.

New ball joints. tie rod ends and Spax coil over shocks with new springs. New brake pads and shoes. Rebuilt master cylinder and calipers. New rear wheel cylinders. Panasports with A 008 which still had 15 psi on all four wheels.

New carpet. windshield and sunroof. Also new H 4 Headlamps with LED turn signal bulbs.
Revised gear shift linkage that is very precise and smooth. Dual external fuel fillers ala type 47
Magnificent body with great Du Pont Duracyl acrylic paint. 1977 Corvette yellow.

I have over $10. 00 in parts and labor invoices on mechanical items plus what ever the paint and body work cost. The cost of the Stainless header and Super Trapp is not included in that total. A Super Trapp is around $350
Car runs and drives well.

I lost my work space. Some details remain
Lower left corner windshield trim piece. Tach is inoperative. Head liner needs replacing. Mirrors in pictures are included but not installed. Very nice brand new all metal bullet mirrors. Can be mounted on fenders or doors.
Chassis is in excellent solid condition
There are some scratches and nicks in the paint acquired in storage. Small crack in right front fender well.

I have not driven this car extensively so I recommend shipping. Car is sold as is and as shown with no warranty either expressed or implied.

Factory Service manual is also included as is the four inch file of invoices. I also have the Du Pont paint codes.
