Hi . you are looking at a 1972 Ford Courier pick up . it is actually a Mazda . re-badged as a ford for the american market . I imported this truck from California last year where it had spent all its life . Its in great condition for its age . but needs some welding to the floor . the sills are totally solid except for a small area at the bottom of each B pillar .
The engine is an 1800 cc petrol . gearbox is a 4 speed manual . Runs very smoothly and drives lovely . The truck is lowered . by the fitment of lowering springs on the front . and lowering blocks on the leaf springs at the rear . Tyres are almost new . The pickup bed is totally solid . and is fitted with a great fibreglass hinge up bed cover which locks once shut . The paint has great patina . has had some paintwork to the front end and down one side which has faded to a very different blue . but I think this gives it character . Everything works as it should . it cruises well at 65-70 mph . and is very economical . I have been using it as a daily driver for 6 months and it has never let me down . Stays nice and cool in traffic . and the heater works too . Interior is typically dried and cracked from the california heat . but is presentable . It has a blanket covering the bench seat as it is starting to fall apart . Original radio works ( not very loud ) I am happy to do the welding it needs if the asking price is met . I have a 5 speed box available to whoever buys the truck . It has 5 months MOT . but I am happy to put a full year on it . Tax exempt . cheap to insure .
