Karmann ghia

This is my 1971 Karmann which I have decided to sell. It is a import from California and has been in the uk since the early 90s only having had two previous owners the last owning it for over ten years. I don't know a lot about ghias but loved the shape of it so decided to buy it and restore it I sent it to Karmann ghia specialist in Watford where over 1200 pounds was spent to get it up and running driving and through an mot. She goes really well and puts a smile on your face. Mechanically really good starts up does not over heat and is a joy. My next plan was to tackle the body work i have pictured the small bits of rust on the head lights and bumpers and has a dent on the passenger door I know the colour is not to every ones taste so I'm not being greedy in my price I love this car and want it going to a good home. Its a cheap car which is driving and ready for the road so youu can drive it as is. This has got to be the cheapest Karmann Ghia in the country with 12 months of MOT and that's had all the main mechanical bits done to it.

Car collection. Supply and fit new battery. Supply and fit new steering damper. Remove petrol tank. flush out tank and petrol line. refit. Supply and fit new set of ignition points. Replace petrol filter. Horn not working. replace horn relay. Wiper blades split. replace with new blades. No rear brake lights. clean fusesOffside rear floorpan rusted through. bare metal area and weld in newplate. underseal. Offside door lock sticking remove cover and lubricate. Drivers door glass winder not working. remove ratchet and weld in newpiece and refit. Rear brakes sticking. remove brake drums and replace both flexible brakehoses. wheel cylinders and bleed. Both rear drum brake adjusters seized. replace and lubricate. Take for Mot. Remove engine. inspect clutch and fit new clutch kit. Supply and fit matching key chrome door handles. Supply and fit new carb. as old one will not adjust c02

Iv also spent a further £110 pounds getting the clutch arm bearing changed.
