1986 BMW E28 520i for sale

A reluctant sale of my 1986 BMW E 28. I've had this car a little over a year now and when I brought it had been sat up in a garage for 9 years. I got it back on the road and have enjoyed months of driving and looking after this car.

As the car had been sat for sometime the instrument cluster wasn't working properly so a replacement was found. meaning the mileage on the new cluster was higher than the miles the car has actually done.

This little beauty starts first time. even after being unused for a while and is such a lovely drive with it's straight 6. 2 litre engine.

This car is sat on replica 17" Alpina wheels which has excellent tyres all round. with the rear tyres being replaced fairly recently.

The interior is very tidy. apart from a slight tear in the drives bolster.

The engine bay is very clean. as well as the engine components. It has a K&N Air filter. new HT leads and plugs (2 months

ago) The stock fan doesn't work but I have fitted an after market fan with a switch inside the car (Big red switch in photo's)

Cambelt was done a year and half ago by previous owner

The chassis of this car is solid and there is no obvious rust under or round the car.

The paint is excellent condition with some of the side decal showing wear. However the lacquer on the bonnet is starting to flake. The colour is Dolphin Grey

The windscreen has a slight chip in. which I also haven't got round to fixing. it is smaller than a £2 coin so could properly be sealed by Auto-Glass or similar.

It has a sunshine roof however I have never open it as when I brought it I was told it leaked and it had been sealed up and I haven't got round to sorting it out yet.

Boot is very clean and in a good condition.

It has a CD audio system. and the mechanical aerial STILL works!!
