Hello everyone! Up for ebay auction is this superb "hi top" volkswagen bay window camper. Its not long been imported into the UK. and has come from sunny California. so has had zero welding underneath. an area these old lasses suffer with! I've now got it registered on uk plates. and put a full years mot on her. Its had a complete brake overhaul. with new front pads. rebuilt callipers. new  brake shoes and wheel cylinders. new brake flexi-pipes all round and bled out system. Its also had 5 new load rated tyres. 4 new shock absorbers. and new cv boots. The brake servo has been overhauled and its had new track rods. Engine wise. its very fresh. having had new points. plugs condensor. and oil and filter change. Mechanically its very. very good. and wants for nothing. The paint is a little sketchy. having been sun drenched in the USA from 40 + years. but its all very solid. use as is. (patina) of respray at will! The inside is all original units. a little tired. but usable. and great for a pattern if you require new. It has the potential to sleep 4+ people. being the hi-top model. or it would make a great serving van. (pot noodle bus?) was an idea i was thinking of doing.
