Classic Mini Italian job 1987, Total rebuild last winter, amazing condition

Hi This Mini has been my winter project. I purchased it as a rolling running shell part finished project as the owner changed jobs and had no storage and it kept me occupied on the long winter evenings. The previous owner had. replaced both subframes. wings. A plates . scuttle . valance and inner and outer sills and was an expert welder. I have fitted new exhaust . New mini -lite wheels. new tyres. brakes to rear. windscreen . rear window and rubbers. Interior with that from a Mini 30 including door cards and dashboard. headlights. water pump . radiator. I fitted the wooden dashboard from a cooper with the new type speedo so therefore the milage is unknown. The engine and gear box were removed . the engine stripped with new seals fitted but nothing else needed doing . so too good to mess with so have left them alone and she drives just great. I then had the car re sprayed in its original Cianti Austin red colour after extensive preparation by MINIBITZ the classic mini specialist based in Northampton to avoid future rust problems and I don't mean by applying loads of under-seal with an £1100 respray and preparation bill and therefore there is no mismatch in colour from inside to out. The roof was painted cooper white and a professional Union jack applied.

She is perfect for export to the USA where she will be worth three times the Buy it now price I am suggesting. I have insured her through the classic car club and the policy costs £96 a year based on a maximum of 5000 miles a year

I would challenge any potential buyer to put her on a ramp to inspect the amazing chassis condition and find faults. I have photos of before and after should you be interested
She now looks amazing and a real head turner. She passed the Mot first time at the beginning of the year with no advisories and I have been using her at weekends for fun. Now selling to fund the restoration of my frog eye sprite as the wife only allows one project at a time. This car can only appreciate in value
