Classic Land Rover 88" Hardtop, 1977, ACCIDENT DAMAGED REPAIRABLE SALVAGE

Here I have for sale. a true piece of British Motoring History. a Classic Land Rover 88" Series 3 Hardtop. 2 1/4 version with the essential Overdrive Gearbox!It has come to us direct from a major UK Insurance Company. after sustaining panel damage along the drivers side. It appears that it may have laid in a ditch or something similar. Could be used 'as is'. there are no sharp edges etc. It's classed as category C salvage. No VIC check required. just get Insurance & tax it at the Post Office. It's as easy as that!The car starts & drives very well. The general pre-accident condition is excellent for its age. and it appears to have had a very easy life owing to there being no evidence of mud etc underneath. so no off-road use recently. It's obviously been someone's pride & joy. and has not been used for work judging by the clean & tidy interior!I've done a internet check on the history. it shows that it was only MOT'd in May this year. and the low recorded mileage is backed up by the previous MOT history over recent years. The damage appears to be a simple panel repair to the o/s/r 1/4. and the edge of the roof. As everything is either bolted or riveted together on these old Battleships. even to remove the panels would be a simple procedure. Now that production of these Iconic vehicles has ended. these classics can only increase in value. there'll not be any more of 'em!
