The second generation Ghibli. a V 6 twin-turbo coupé was produced
from 1992 through to 1997 and. in a still-standing Maserati
tradition. is named after a wind. the Libyan name for the hot and
dry. south-western blowing desert Sirocco. It was a two-door. br/>four-seater coupé with twin-turbo V 6 engines and. like the V 8
Maserati Shamal. it was an evolution of the previous Biturbo
coupés. It was launched at the 62 nd Turin Motor Show in April 1992
and was built for luxury as well as performance complemented well
by its interior featured Connolly leather upholstery and burl elm
trim.
The example presented here today is described by the vendor as
very well maintained indeed with a comprehensive history detailed
from brand new and servicing in the last five years alone totalling
over £5. 00. A full years Mo T test certificate also accompanies the
car for added confidence. The driving experience is very good and
the overall condition of both interior and exterior is that of a
car of far fewer miles thus demonstrating the care of its
custodians over the years. An unobtrusive sporting coupé heralded
by the famous Maserati trident.
