The second generation Ghibli. a V6 twin-turbo coupé was produced
from 1992 through to 1997 and. in a still-standing Maserati
tradition. is named after a wind. the Libyan name for the hot and
dry. south-western blowing desert Sirocco. It was a two-door. br/>four-seater coupé with twin-turbo V6 engines and. like the V8
Maserati Shamal. it was an evolution of the previous Biturbo
coupés. It was launched at the 62nd Turin Motor Show in April 1992
and was built for luxury as well as performance complemented well
by its interior featured Connolly leather upholstery and burl elm
trim.
