Originally supplied to Sheikh Ghanim Al Thani of Trucil commodities Corp. the Rolls Royce Silver Wraith was shipped new. to the Persian Gulf and was fitted with air conditioning which it has to this day.

It is featured on the front page of Grahanm Robson's Collector's Guide (The Rolls-Royce and Bentley Volume 2: Coach built models 1945-1985 Book). The Rolls Royce Silver Wraith spent many years in the ownership of an aristocratic Spanish family who kept the Rolls Royce Silver Wraith garaged at their ‘finca' outside Madrid. It was sparsely used during this time for family weddings and odd formal occasions doing less than 1. 00 miles per year.

Despite this. the Rolls Royce Silver Wraith was serviced properly each year being well looked after.

We collected the Rolls Royce Silver Wraith from the sons of the family and drove it back to the UK without a hitch.

We drove it across the Spanish plains in the heat of the late summer and it ran cool for the whole journey.

The exterior is Maroon paintwork in perfect brand new condition with Golden Beige to the sides which suits it very well being its original colour.

This high quality respray in the original colours was completed last year so presents as being very fresh.

The chrome work is likewise very good. probably as a result of always living in a dry arid climate.

This is a very large Rolls Royce in the style of the empress line with a front wing line that swoops all the way to the very rear of the car. running through the demountable spats.

The interior is fawn leather to the front and rear. The front leather has been recently replaced and looks brand new.

We are having a new carpet set made as the originals have some localized staining and discoloration.

The rear has twin occasional seats that fold out of the passenger foot wells and double as footrests when not being used.

To the center is a large drinks cabinet which folds out on a pivot through 180 degrees.

The wood is of Burr walnut. all original and in generally good order.

Twin picnic tables are also fitted. The best part of this Rolls Royce Silver Wraith is the way it drives.

It starts instantly even after standing for prolonged periods.

The engine is silent and powerful easily moving the car at a pace that might be considered slightly unseemly for such a sedate looking limousine.

The ride is soft and supple with the steering very direct.

The automatic gearbox changes seamlessly with no lag or roughness at all.
