1983 Ferrari Boxer 512 BBi – Finished in Red over Black and red daytona interior
The Bosch K-Jetronic CIS fuel injected BB 512 i introduced in 1981 was the last of the series. The fuel injected motor produced cleaner emissions and offered a better balance of performance and daily-driver temperament. External differentiators from the BB 512 besides badging include a change to metric sized wheels and the Michelin TRX metric tire system. small white running lights in the nose. and red rear fog lamps outboard of the exhaust pipes in the rear valance.
1. 07 BB 512 i models were produced built between 1981 and 1984.
Chassis number 45999 left the factory for Bruxelles Ferrari Authorized dealer s. a Garage Francorchamps in may 1983. On may 16 1983 it was sold and exported to the USA to B. J Lyon in Mobile Alabama – remaining in the USA for over 20 years until being imported into Alberta Canada in late 2005 for a Ferrari collector and enthusiast.
It retains all original Tools. Books and Extensive service records over the years. factory Spare. Warranty and Service booklet with Stamp history. Factory panels. Factory Radio and Sound system and believed to be mostly factory original paint with no re spray or restoration. A truly all original vehicle.
