      This is a replica of the 1963 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder. This car was built by Mark Goyette and Neil Glassmoyer. Their company was called Modera Research and Design. After building their first car. executives from Paramount Pictures saw the car at a show and
commissioned them to build several cars for the 1986 movie “Ferris Beuller’s Day Off. ”

        That California Spyder made the movie!  Modera Design went on to build 25 cars in total before Ferrari shut them down.

       
      The car offered today was purchased by myself 4 years ago.  It truly is a special “one of a kind car” with no other like it. I did some
research and called the builders of this car. The story goes that a well-known designer from New York purchased the car as a closed headlight model and had it converted to an open headlight model. In addition the interior is as close to authentic Ferrari as you can get.  A genuine Ferrari steering wheel. ashtray and Veglia gauges are all in the car!

           Even the movie car used Smith’s gauges and had a less-authentic interior!

        The car features a "Pozi" blue exterior which was painted 4 years ago and a Cuio Connoly leather interior. Also has the creature
comforts of ice cold A/C and Denon stereo/CD  player. The convertible top is "Navy" blue and two boots are included with purchase.

        I own a 360 Modena and believe me. this car makes heads turn! The car is powerful and runs great!  The five-speed manual transmission with the Ford 289 shoots musical rumble out of the Ansa exhaust pipes! By owning this car you will have all the visual and performance pleasure you can handle. The real deal is a multi-million
dollar car which you probably wouldn’t even drive!

 
      I haven’t even registered this car since I
bought it from the previous owner.  I hate to sell this car. but unfortunately don’t have the time to enjoy it. Time for it to go to someone who will!  Good luck bidding!
