History
Clearly a very well cared for car throughout its life. a comprehensive history file compliments this car perfectly.

The original owners wallet is present with all original booklets.

Also within the well presented file is various invoices & receipts. of course full MOT history is also present.

2 Copies of Practical Classics Magazine (December 2011) are within the file. which the car had a full feature for the MK 2 Astra GTE buyers guide.

The car was recently serviced on the 10 th of July 2015. at 75. 71 miles and this included the cambelt replacement.

Body & Paintwork
A superb original example. and one that completely defies the mileage showing.
This car could pass as a 30 k mile example with ease. and really has been truly loved.

Original panels and paintwork throughout with no signs of any corrosion.
The rear arches still maintain the correct shape and have no corrosion at all. the sills which are also prone to corrosion on these cars are also without any corrosion.

The engine bay and front chassis rails are superb. again with no corrosion at all.
The only point to mention is the front leading edge has some stonechips which have been touched in. but painting the bonnet will take from the cars originality and it has been left for this reason.

All original bumper inserts are unpainted and in great condition. as are the original side mouldings and door trims.

Interior & Trim
A nice early interior. showing very little signs of any wear.

The seats are remarkable and really demonstrate that it has been cherished its entire life. with the bolsters still being very tight and firm. with no holes or wear marks showing.
The carpets are still nice and thick. with all four original rubber mats.

Digital dash display works perfectly with no missing pixels. and still looks fantastically retro.
Steering wheel and gearknob still look fantastic. it would be impossible to guess this car had covered 75. 00 miles.

Original stereo is still fitted which works just as it should do. and no aftermarket speakers have been fitted (parcel shelf is un-touched).

The boot is again. spotless. just like the rest of the interior.
This car is a true credit to its previous keepers and a very rare car in this fantastic original condition.

Engine
Highly regarded as one of the strongest engines Vauxhall produced in the period.
Nice low down torque means the car is at home through a busy town centre. as it is being taken for a nice drive along some great B roads.

Very well maintained example. benefiting from a full service and cambelt replacement in July 2015. this car is ready to go.

Performance is smooth and still brisk even today. and certainly enough to take you straight back to the 80′s and put a big grin on anybodys face.
A true timewarp example. with a very well presented original engine/engine bay.

Running Gear
This car drives superb. with no unwanted noises at all.

The underside is in great condition. having never had any welding and is certainly not in need of any welding either.

Very well presented indeed. with all underside components being in good original order also.

Brakes work just as they should do. and it is still a great fun car to drive with lots of admiring comments and attention.
