EXTERIOR
This iconic uber saloon looks every part the definitive Q-car in spectacular Avus Blue. After a thorough detailing session with our in-house team the paintwork exhibits a deep and rich lustre that shows consistently well. The tidy bodywork is offset by the traditional silver splitter. side skirts and rear diffuser subtle aero enhancements that offer some further indication that this is no normal E 34.

INTERIOR
Sitting in the M 5 it is awash with Black Nappa leather. with the presentation clean and clear the appeal of this era lies with the simplicity and driver focus. All of the leather is in great condition still looking extremely fresh and clean. The surfaces look tidy. the dash gadgets and switch gear still solid to the touch with no fading or stickiness. The pale grey carpets are clean and still protected with the original over mats.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E 34 M 5 has the later S 38 B 38 engine which was the largest six-cylinder BMW engine of the time and produced 340 bhp. Pop the bonnet and you are faced with a beautifully clean engine bay. with little sign of surface corrosion and bonnet insulation still present and correct. With a recent alternator. fan belt. filter and plugs this E 34 sits in fine mechanical fettle and performs admirably on test. wonderfully tactile and totally absorbing. The M 5 comes equipped with the later 6 speed ‘box which shifts through the gears smoothly with precision. this all courtesy of a lighter clutch fitted from factory.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
It is not often that the BMW M Division get it wrong with OEM alloy design and the E 34 evolution was spectacular. From classic turbines and throwing stars to arguably the ultimate dish and spoke design – the M Parallel. Having been freshly refurbished these examples are totally unmarked wrapped in recently installed rubber. Brakes are strong and willing. pulling up this Saloon well with a minimum of fuss.

HISTORY FILE
Chassis number GE 00248 was supplied new by Hallamshire Motor Co Ltd on 19. 08. 94. With a total of 14 stamps from the main dealer the most recent service extended to a new alternator and fresh water pump.

A full book pack including the original service book is present and correct.
