You are bidding on an awesome 1974 De Tomaso Pantera. this is a one of a kind car that was modified and professionally restored many years ago. and is awaiting for you to put your own restoration expertise back into her.   There was incredible standards met to ensure exact quality fit & finish. No expense was spared in this restoration. the Legendary Southern California performance Icons are a part of this car's documented history. Eddie Hale did the engine rebuild. Lyle Fisk did the custom striping. and signed his work as customary. on the side glass. Hall Pantera did all of the suspension and interior package. and the list goes on & on as you can see below. The car still stands strong today and is a sight to behold.

 

The Engine Mods; • Four Bolt Main Block • 1971 Ford CJ heads. ported and polished by Ed Hale • L. A. E. Kryptonite EN30B forged crankshaft • Carillo connecting rods • MSD 6200 Ignition system with MSD 8910 Tech Adapter • De Tomaso valve covers with machined gold anodized wire looms • Schneider double valve spring and titanium retainers Accell super coil • 1971 Ford CJ camshaft and hydraulic lifters • Aluminized Hall exhaust headers • Aluminized Ansa mufflers with chromed tips TRW high volume oil pump • Polished stainless steel transaxle breather tube with machined and milled aluminum fittings and bracket • Braided stainless steel fuel lines. vacuum lines. smog lines. nitrous oxide line. and Halon 13011 line • Engine dyno tuned by Paul Fisher. The Dyno Shop. Huntington Beach • Reinforced rear engine cover hinges. chromed with stainless steel Allen bolts and washers • Oil temperature and pressure relocate kit • Chromed shift linkage. and U-joints • Filled trunk Dzus fasteners • Milodon cam cheater gear drive with adjustable cam advance • Polished stainless steel hydraulic clutch line with AN fittings • Phoenix halon 1301 Mark 1 fire suppression system • Quick-release oil drain valve • Manifold; Edelbrock F3S1/266S aluminum “Performer” • Demon 750 CFM double-pumper carburetor • Holley Black electric racing fuel pump {14 PSI. 110 GPH} with regulator and bypass. rubber shock-mounted to subframe regulated to 7 PSI. aluminum AN fittings • NOS bottle system has all parts included. but is not currently connected. Hook it up yourself if you are brave enough! Its fast enough without it.

EXTERIOR MODIFICATIONS • Body; All exterior seams filled {MIG Welded}. radiused front wheel wells for wider tires. contours sharpened. acrylic urethane paint {three-color} hand color sanded and hand polished finish. Two-toned hand pin striping under clear by Lyle Fisk. • Epoxy powder coated inside and outside windows moulding. grills. wipers grills. front grills. headlight rings and scripts. • DeTomaso V-8” rear deck plate. black chromed Carello prototype Group-4 taillights with and housing with LED lights • Group-5 white and amber front turn signals/parking lights with modified aluminum body mounts • New. modifed retangular halogen headlamps (no frog eyes) • Front European “L” bumpers. powder coated with special molding • Billet aluminum rear lower A-arm covers • Vitaloni electronic Turbo mirrors with DeTomaso emblems •  Custom windshield with built-in antenna by Hall Pantera • Rear bumper; metal straightened. contours sharpened. weld marks removed. painted in Deltron gray and black with clear coat. mounting nuts. flat and star washers chromed • Front bumpers; Metal finished. contours sharpened and formed. painted in Deltron gray and black with clear coat • Fresh air ducts mounted on sides • Top engine cover; weld marks removed. painted in Deltron gray with clear coat. Car has normal wear and tear. a few minor scratches and one small ding on fender thanks to the Easter earquake a few years ago.

INTERIOR MODIFICATIONS • Handstiched Connolly leather interior; door panels. door arm rest. center arm rest. inner dash. window pillars. inside door handles. • Recaro LS seats and headrests { early type} with Ferrari Daytona stitching pattern • Headrest post bellows • Machined aluminum. gray anodized seat adjustment knobs with black :T” emblems • 1983 GTS Pantera dash updated with brand new Autometer Phantom II series gagues throughout.   Comes with the original factory gauges (saved in a box) • Hall gauge console with mechanical V DO gauges { water and oil} Driving lights relay pilot light • Momo Corsa leather wrapped steering wheel with custom stitching and hand painted logo • Black cut-pile carpeting. surged with stitched welts • Black chromed shift gate with epoxy powder coated Allen bolts • Three-way interior courtesy foot and headliner lighting with customized factory switch. relay controlled • Added insulation in doors. rear bulkhead. and rocker panel • Dual nitrous oxide power switches and indicator lights • Heavy duty accelerator pedal cable ball and clip assembly • Two-point chromed roll bar with chromed Allen bolts • Bronze power window gears.

COOLING MODIFICATIONS • Manual control. twin "sucker fan" system over new heavy duty high flow radiator and new electric water pump • Poly powder coated pressure tank with safety cap • Milled aluminum overflow and pressure tank cap covers with black “T” emblem • Black polyurethane radiator mounts •  Heater shut off valve. remote mounted 160 degree F. engine thermostat. • Separate V DO mechanical temp gauge to engine coolant output.  

CHASSIS. BRAKES. & SYSTEMS MODIFICATIONS • Polyurethane shock and control arm bushings with steel sleeves. • Polyurethane sway bar bushings. • Hall forged aluminum sway bar brackets with black “T” emblems. • 15/16 inch front and rear sway bars. bright chromed. • Front and rear adjustable Koni shocks. • Polished aluminum rear/lower A-arm covers Grade 8. 8 suspension hardware. clear coated. • Stainless steel brake and vacuum lines with steel fittings. • Spicer U-joints with sleeves and zerk fittings with plastic covers. • Custom forged aluminum rear chamber bar with chromed turnbuckle. • Poly powder coated control A-arms. • Cadmium-irridated lower rear A-arm brackets. • Spring spacers removed. front and rear. • Polished stainless steel splash shields. • High speed balanced half shafts. deburred and chromed. • Hall positive stop Master Cylinder. polished and bright chromed. with vacuum booster. painted to match exterior of the car. • Custom louvered aluminum panels behind radiator. • Electric/pneumatic front end lift kit with chromed air shocks. New. low milage. nbsp;Wilwood braking system with rotors • All new wheel bearings front and back.

EXTRAS THAT COME WITH CAR. nbsp;NOT INSTALLED  • Hall fiberglass fresh air ducts mounted in rear quarter window openings. contours sharpened and painted in black Deltron acrylic urethane. • Driver's side fresh air duct blows cool outside air into the engine compartment to cool heat from the engine. • Rear Long & Newman delta wing with modified tips {alumafilled} polyurethane delta wing base gaskets.   • Complete high-life. roller bearing cam system. roller rockers. cam timing tools and micrometers. and Edelbrock torquer high rise manifold. nbsp;for when you feel like putting a lot more power into this already powerful car!

While originally restoring this automobile. a theme of function and form was implemented. The vehicle had to remain the flavor of DeTomaso Automobiles; having the right amount of chrome. powder coat. paint and class. but still utilizing DeTomaso parts. ideas and modifications whenever it seemed pleasing to the eye. There are countless man-hours here. The modifications instituted were to increase the strength. power. reliability. while enhancing the appeal of the automobile. This effort has also increased the car's quality and value. This vehicle was totally restored from the ground up by the first owner. then meticulously put together by hand to insure concours craftsmanship. During the restoration. photographs were taken. This car was originally titled in California; this vehicle has never seen the rain since the restoration was completed. We have all of the information on this car from the restoration process. and every bolt that was ever replaced on it. The interior has been hand stitched in Connolly Leather on Recaro LS seats and Headrests with Ferrari Daytona stitching pattern. The seats come with Deist lap and shoulder harnesses; we have 7 pages of modifications from interior mods. & exterior mods. The exterior paint finish is a DuPont Delton Acrylic Urethane. Black original Black #DAU-9300. and Gray 1984 GM sand Gray Fire mist # 3538 with Clear-Delglo Clear # DAU-82 The worked performed on this show stopper was done several years ago and was awarded numerous awards through out the California show circuit. The two toned Paint finish is show quality. and is a beautiful example of quality paint work. This awesome car comes with new CD player (good luck hearing it over the wonderful tone of the exhaust!). leather seats. and power windows. the car sits perched on A Brand New set of Custom Boyd Coddington 17 inch Rim's with Michelin Pilot Sport New Tires 335/35 ZR 17 in the back and 335/45 ZR17 in the front. The V-8 engine horsepower without being put on a dino is 350-380 HP. This true sports car drives out extremely good; the acceleration is exceptional and handles real tight incurves. Comes with a pedigree and a history of car-show winnings from the early 80's when she was first restored. This vehicle is being sold on a California title. VIN # THPNNK06493
