EXTERIOR
The box arched E30 will remain a signature design for years to come with proportions and dimensions that worked for the road. the track and rally stages of the world. Finished in Diamantschwarz metallic this example positively glows with an exacting finish and lustre that points to outstanding provenance and ownership of the greatest care. Typical areas that are susceptible to wear such as plastics. trims and rubbers are in remarkable condition. Lights and grille are in are as new. whilst common areas of expected wear such as the mirrors. spoiler and bonnet are pleasingly free of chips or marks. The car is presented in quite stunning condition and stands as a definitive example in near brand new condition.

INTERIOR
The familiar dashboard retains excellent original fit and finish in keeping with the low mileage of this stunning E30. The black leather. door cards and gearbox tunnel all present in fabulous condition and are difficult to fault without having been subject to any age related wear. cracking or discolouration. This particular car is fitted with the expensive electronic damper control with 3 possible positions. comfort. normal and sport (comfort switches to normal above 50mph) – quite the innovation for suspension of this era.
A Bavaria C radio stand as the only OEM upgrade within the cabin. with factory AC and sunroof offering some comfort for those warmer journeys. The boot presents as new. with the correct jack. brace and Michelin MXX wrapped spare in place.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The engine bay has been prepared in meticulous fashion. presenting as new with many parts renewed or replaced. The previous owner has truly cosseted this example; every time it comes out of storage. or is started after being stopped for more than 3 months. the engine is first primed with oil before actually firing it. This procedure involves removing the spark plugs. running the starter motor from the diagnostic port for up to 1 minute until the oil pressure light is off. It is this dedication that results in no timing chain rattle whatsoever. it´s a pleasure to listen to the tick over with no harsh sounds at all. Thanks to the official Hartge upgrades. this S14 pulls very strongly without any hesitation with the gearbox is as smooth and positive as Gertrag first intended.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Running on as new optional 16 inch ‘Basketweaves' with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 rubber. The braking system has had a major overhaul. with every wearable item replaced in 2009. and as such the car performs with excellent initial bite and feel. The suspension is factory standard and every rubber link and bush having been replaced. contributing greatly to the wonderful poise and balance for which these chassis are notorious.

HISTORY FILE
This incredible UK supplied E30 M3 was first delivered via Park Lane BMW on the 19th October 1987. With a full history in the UK. the car then went to Hartge themselves in Germany before settling in Portugal for a number of years where it has been subject to treasured ownership and careful storage. It has undergone a no expense spared recommission. where all perishable parts were replaced and many of the mechanical parts were new or refurbished to new condition. Thousands have been spent in parts and labor to revert the car back to as new. a project of huge care and attention that presents this example as one of the very best available on the market today.
