Seller's notes: It has taken a number of different owners to build this Hot Rod using their skills to the best of their abilities in their own back yard garages. Build in the old spirit of hot rodding by re-cycling old parts, only buying new if old not available or for safety concerns. Brake system is totally new and added back up camera for safety. The car has some small scratches which I feel adds to the age of the car. This was built to drive and enjoy not to be put in a glass box. I still have a leak from the transmission and the front driver brake still grabs. The paint does have some spots where I should have done more prep before painting if you look close enough. I like the car but health issues are preventing me from putting the time in fine tuning the car and driving it. It is good value and a fair price that you will enjoy showing it to friends.

Rare 1940's Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2 door coupe body built in 1941 and registered in 1948 old style Hot Rod. Complete with 1983 Caprice small block Chev 305 V 8. TB 350 automatic transmission. power steering. power brakes. radio and 5 pc gauge set. It has 1969 Camero. 4 wheel drum brakes and front clip It has less than 30 kilometers since it was modified. The car is complete with all those things we loved about the past but has many of the modern things that we love. like back up camera. electric control front. driver power seat. This is truly a very rare car that you may never see for sale again! If you want to buy a piece of history that is enjoyable to drive. with modern conveniences and at a very affordable price. this car is for you at a very fair price!

Project first started in Port Coquitlam were the frame. lowering and clip was done

Sold to man in Parksville that found the “donor” vehicle. then could not find time to do much more due to family and other projects

I then bought it as a retirement project to fill in my spare time in retirement

I have done the rest of the work the best I could. in the spirit of the original hot rods. in my back yard garage
·
Due to health problems have not been able to spare the time to do the final touches on it and enjoy driving it.
At present have a small leak from the transmission and front driver side brake drum grabbing which I have been hoping to get to.

Tried to do the work in the spirit of the original Hot Rods of the 50's and 60's where used parts were used. The work was done at home not in $200 per hour shops and you did not need $150. 00 to enjoy a car from the past.

This car has been cared for and restored the best we could in the back yard garages with the resources we had. There is some chips . scratches along with other signs of use and wear.
