1968 DAIMLER V8 250 BRITISH RACING GREEN for sale

A beautiful Daimler 2. 5 Litre V 8 250 first registered in December 1968 and restored by the previous owner about 3 or 4 years ago.
There are a huge number of photos of the restoration on a memory stick.
The car has been newly fitted with electronic ignition and all HT electrics have been replaced it now runs beautifully with the full 40 psi oil pressure when hot.
The power steering is excellent. the gearbox changes quietly and smoothly as it should making the car a pleasure to drive.
New chrome wire wheels were fitted at the time of restoration and the tyres are in good order with plenty of tread.
So the car can be driven any where with no further work as it is taxed (free) and has an MOT till April 2014.
The paint work is good and very presentable as can be seen from the photos the only real blemish of which I am aware is at the bottom of the rear boot lid. see photo. The chrome work is extremely good. The car comes with original sales catalogue. Drivers Manual. Daimler Sales and Service booklet and a full Workshop Manual.
The leather interior is original and in excellent condition with no cracks or tears.
A re-connolising pack is with the car if you prefer the seats to look as new rather than with a patina of age.
There are many spares with the car that come from the previous owner. which I have not needed to use. including new upgraded rear shock absorbers. N/S jacking points. copper brake pipe set. headlining. doorcard covering material and spare wind screens etc.
I am having to reluctantly sell the car due to increasing arthritis making it very difficult for me to get in and out.
