Austin 8 CWT Van 1970 entered into the July 31st Classic Car Auction. PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle cannot be sold prior to the auction.

With Austin and Morris both part of BMC. the Minor-based Morris commercial vans were also marketed as the Austin 6cwt and Austin 8cwt. The commercials versions were initially marketed as the Morris Quarter Ton Van and Pick-up with a Series III designation applied from 1956. The names Morris 6cwt Van and Pickup was used following the introduction of the 1098cc engine in 1962 and 8cwt versions were added in 1968.
This Austin 8 CWT Van is a very rare find. Vendor states that it has been resprayed and re furbished around 5 years ago. complete new braking system and clutch. Since then it has had very little use. around 1000 miles. and has been used mainly for local shows. The previous owner was market gardener and on his retirement it was stored in a dry shed for a number of years.
