A rare opportunity to acquire a left hand drive Cloud III. which is one of the last series to be built. delivered in New York June 1965. The car is in sound condition. cheerfully painted in pale metallic blue. smart chrome work. with darker blue leather interior in excellent condition. For the first time since built. the car is back on UK soil. and is offered running nicely. with a good engine. re-commissioned. serviced. MoT tested and UK registered. Has Sundym glass and air conditioning.

Snippets: The Nemeroffs: Bernard G Nemeroff gave his address as 350. Fifth Ave. New York which of course is the location of the Empire State Building! Bernard's father. Nathan (1883/1965) was born in Kiev. Russia & in 1907. during the time of great political upheaval in the USSR. Nathan (being of Jewish descent) took his family to America. In 1912 Nathan Nemeroff obtained USA Naturalisation and went on to become a successful shirt manufacturer in Pennsylvania & was even called up in WWII! His son. Bernard (1907/90) did not follow his brother Herman into the family firm but became a solicitor. specialising in the garment industry. In 1948 Bernard Nemeroff purchased “Dellwood” a well known Country Club which he purchased from Adolf Zukor (head of Paramount Studios). According to legend Zukor held lavish parties at Dellwood with guests including Charlie Chaplin. Mary Pickford & Gracie Allen etc. During the hot summer months Zukor used to travel by powerboat from Dellwood to his Manhatten office prior to the depression which forced him to sell Dellwood.
