Vintage 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis. in deep midnight blue. collector plate ready. not perfect but affordable. needs a few things. tune up. muffler. carborator kit. a power window motor. a few odds n ends nothing major. No rust on the body and no mold on the interior. The car has been sitting for many years. Needs a good cleaning. carpet shampoo. maybe a paint refresh. For Ford Lincoln Mercury lovers this is the finest example of the details manufacturers provided in the 70's that we just don't see today. Regal and stately this is a real head turner. People stop to take pictures and always ask about it. Time warp 1978. 36 years ago.
Has a 460-4 V power plant with dual exhaust option. Would'nt take very much money to return it to its former glory. Odometer reads 21000 km but cannot verify. Might be 121000 however engine area is clean. Interior is grey leather with plush grey carpeting and not a sign of any smoking at all. Air conditioning still works blowing ice cold air.

Original radio with 8 track. Not a car for a demolition derby but a true collectable piece of Americana. If you are looking for perfection. please keep looking. if you are just looking for an affordable nice example of a Ford Lincoln Mercury division classic that you can putter around with. maybe take to a car show or simply cruise around in once in awhile. this is your car.
