1974 Bay window kombi 8 seater. This is not a show car but is a sound daily driver with the usual rust issues. Leave it and drive as is or restore it for as a rare and appreciating asset.
There is rust in the roof sills and around the windscreen. The paint is bubbling in some places and there are a few small tears in the middle seat. Look closely at the photos as they form part of the description. I have tried to show the worst so you know what you are getting.
This Bus is currently registered and driven daily. I will be selling without rego and roadworthy. but if you want to arrange your own RWC i will happily transfer the remaining rego upon the sale. Rego runs out end October 2015.
This bus has a 1600 twin port motor that runs well (Needs to warm up in the mornings). The transmission is strong without any clunks. Reverse can be a little tricky to find but once you know the secret you will never have a problem with it.
I bought this bus as a fun car for me. my wife and the kids to cruise about in. We enjoyed it so much i bought another one. (the fancy show car variety). Hence the reason for selling this one.
This is a perfect long project car. drive it now and fix it up a bit at a time while still enjoying the ride.
