Volkswagen Beetle-1964-RHD

This Right hand drive Beetle had been in dry storage in pieces for 20 years before being discovered. fully restored and put back together. The restoration was completed by the founder and previous owner of The Herby Hospital garage in Leeds in 2013 and the vehicle was purchased on its completion. The car is in excellent condition. solid and sound. It was re-sprayed in its original Java Green colour and the interior refurbed where needed. Originallity was always the key. It is still on the 6 volt system. It was completely under-sealed in October 2014 when it went through its MOT (which it passed without a problem). During the restoration a new heater channel and a new fuel tank was fitted. heaters work excellently. The bodywork is excellent apart from some very light pitting on the bonnet and the odd stone chip. The engine has been completely re-built and runs like a dream. It has a recorded mileage of 62. 52 but I cannot confirm this is correct. There is a cover (nearly new) included in the price. This is an excellent original vehicle through out that has had thousands of pounds spent on it
The original 1200 cc engine is running superb having been completely rebuilt by Marque specialist . The engine and engine bay are super clean . There are no leaks . The fuel tank and heater channels were replaced new during the strip down All ancillaries have either been replaced or restored . The gearbox and brakes and all electrics are all functioning correctly . This is again due to the fact all been restored by well known specialist .
The original steel wheels have all been restored and are in 1st class order . The tyres are excellent . The whitewalls are removable if you don't want that look. We have now removed and saved for new owner .

There is a very small imperfection of pimples amd the odd stone chip . ut that's it . The trim is all 1st class . A small fortune has been spent to make this Beetle stand out from the crowd . It is in show condition and true to its original look in 1964.
