Mercedes-Benz : 300-Series 300D Turbo

You are viewing a very rare highly desired 1987 300 D turbo with the famed 603. 6 cylinder Diesel. it produces around 150 hp with 200 lbs of torque and only 1200 of these were imported into the US that year before the epa took them off the market for smog concerns. it wasn't till 1990 that the 5 cyl model resurfaced in the 300. until 1999 when Mercedes brought the Blu-tech to N/A this was the fastest Diesel production car ever made and easily does 125 mph plus. This car was imported by myself to Canada in 2003 from Florida where I bought it from an old ladies son that was putting her in a nursing home. The car had 80. 00 original miles then and never had left the St. Petersburg area. Only had Mercedes work and parts its whole life. Once in Canada. I completely restored this Vehicle at a total cost of over $20. 00 (invoices to prove) and used it for trips and long distance travel in the summer. It has ( and a lot more) New or rebuilt (oem) starter. alternator. A/C compressor. All new OEM suspension. springs. stuts (heavy duty) links and bushings. I have 8 rims for the car. These rims are all the rare forged models and not cast like later models. This car is not a museum piece but could easily be made a show car. The paint glows! It has a high end Blaupunkt radio that i bought new old stock and had professionally installed. All lights and functions work as they should with the exception of the back speakers. not sure whats going on there (not blown but not working). This car has never seen winter and has been in a heated temperature controlled environment. I have many parts for this car that I bought on ebay that come with it as well as the original factory shop engine manual (rare! cost me 200 bucks!) This car has had its oil changed every 2500 miles with Mobile Delvac 15/40 and has Amsoil synthetic tranny oil. in it. I have not driven it much over the last few years and due to garage restraints sadly must sell it. These engines go over 1. 00. 00 miles before rebuild if taken care of. I have a spare turbo if it is ever needed that goes with it as well as beautiful spare front grill if needed (rare also). You will not be disappointed. The interior is as close to perfect as you will find for this era.
