This car is a 1966 Vitesse (genuine) convertible. a very early 2-litre version. It is best described as a useable project. It has 12 months MOT. It runs and drives well and the motor is sweet. In 1999. this car had a body-off restoration in 1999 (photos and various bills included) and an engine re-build and a further £1800 was spent on parts and labour in 2012.

Cosmetically. it is somewhat challenged. There is some unsightly filler in the off side rear wheel-arch and wing and the re-paint is “average”. The hood is tired and has a split. both front seats have splits and the drivers seat needs new padding. The rest of the interior is OK and all the gauges work. This is a non-overdrive car but these versions were fitted with a taller diff ratio than the overdrive cars. Fitted with a brake servo. rear seat belts and an alternator.

Because this car is not up to standard I am selling it as a project. However. although scruffy it represents excellent value. Oil change just completed. MOT until February 2016.
