One of the rarest Holdens going in immaculate. original condition. NO RUST. absolute true survivor. This car has spent the last 23 years in a garage in country NSW. Offered in all its original glory. this car has not been resprayed to my knowledge and has not been retrimmed. The inside is in near immaculate condition. The paintwork is fine to use as is. a little crazed on the bonnet. HT Kingswood 186 S (Special) 1969 which was the upgrade model of the 186. the base Monaro came out in the 186 S gear. teh same as this car. The 186 S came standard with dual barrel carburettor. gold airfilter. gold oil cap. gold cooling fan and higher engine output. This first run of the model came with the Chev powerglide automatic gearbox which is hassle free compareed to the later model HT that had the trimatoc installed. Genuine 190000 miles. running like new. PRevious owner fully serviced from top to bottom. with a new exhaust pipe and muffler. Receipts go with the car. This particular car was apparently a Holden Directors car and it was factory optioned in 1969 with the following: * Black interior trim * cloth inserts in seats * chrome hood ornament * vinyl covered sunshade * vinyl roof covering still in excellent original condition * air chief transistor radio * chrome over riders front and rear bumper bars * V 8 factory brake booster * factory steering lock This rare 186 S could be classed as a 4 door Monaro with all the same running gear. we believe it to be very rare with next to none left in this condition. Comes with all service books. letter from Suttons Holden Sydney to the new owner and a questionnaire survey of the service he received from the owner which was never completed. Also has the original paper radio tags that would be on the radio when the purchaser picked up the car. No time wasters!! Contact David
