Just two owners from new and a documented 107. 00 miles the car was relinquished by its second owner due to his advancing age having been its custodian since 1972. This is a very very original example with its original leather & carpets. The only non original part is a recent bare metal respray completed at vast expense in its first colour of Carribean Blue. The doors were removed as were the front & rear windows & a beautiful job made of the re-paint. To the interior is off white Connoly hide piped in blue the leather being lightly patinated but very useable. Walnut Occasional tables are fitted to the seat backs as are seat belts.

The second owner purchased the car April 1972 from the company owned by the first owner. Mr Frank Hearnshaw. when the car had covered about 55. 00 miles. This Flying Spur has been fully maintained throughout and has been serviced and repaired as necessary to its current and warranted mileage of 107. 25 miles. in fact the car has only been driven 10. 00 miles since 1987.

This Continental still has all its original hand tools. torch. wheel changing tools and the hand book is complete with its wiring diagram and lubricating chart. It is supplied with a V 5 C registration document. an MOT test certificate. with no advisories. which expires on 22 nd August 2015. the original 'Buff' log book first stamped 13 th April 1962 and a large history file full of invoices from when the current owner purchased the car. the workshop orders between August 1968 to July 1971 and a letter dated April 1972 which gives the service history on record with Rippon Brothers between 1963 and 1967

As may be expected the car drives beautifully. Smooth seamless gear changes & unruffled power are the order of the day. It is very hard to find such low ownership cars nowadays & a pleasure to fine one that has not been messed around with unduly since leaving the gates or Mulliner's Bedford Park works in Chiswick.
