1991 Mercedes-Benz 300 GE
G-Wagon.
Great condition.
3. 0 lt straight six petrol. Automatic 4 spd.
178. 00 miles. Engine and gearbox are great. No smoke. Plenty of power.
Aircon serviced at last service (Jan 15).
Cruise control.
Sunroof.
2 sets of wheels & tyres. (Original 16" wheels & a set of 18" Ashtaroths) both sets with roadworthy tyres. Last photo details original wheels.
From 1989-2011 the G-wagon was not available in Australia. As Such this vehicle was brought in from the UK as a personal import. 2 owners from New. Myself and the original owner who owned it in England and then brought the car with him when he came to Australia.
This car is a nice compromise between the utilitarian early versions (w 460 models) that came to Australia and the new $150. 00 plus models.
There are only 4 of these in Australia. However parts are not difficult or expensive as it shares many mechanical parts with other models. It's the same 3. 0 lt engine that's in the 300 e & 300 se of the same era. Bullet proof motors.

and select G's in Oz. It has a good overview plus they're the local enthusiasts with an active forum.
Body & interior are fair to good. Previous owner and his family's ownership took a toll on the aesthetics with various dints and dings where car doors were opened onto things
Triple diff locks. Very capable 4 wd.
Car is registered and I assess it as roadworthy condition BUT roadworthy certificate and registration will be the responsibility of the buyer unless negotiated otherwise.
