This was a $6. 83 car back in 1958 which would be over $60. 00 in today's dollars! you had to have money to drive a Contnental convertible back in 1958!
POWERED BY A 375 hp 430 CUBIC INCH V-8
This car is a TOTAL RESTORATION PROJECT!
LAST TITLED AND PARKED SINCE 1969!
HAS NOT RUN IN YEARS
It will need a complete restoration from headlight to tailight. but once restored will bring huge dollars.
There is one fully restored on Hemmings right now for $160. 00! this can easily be a six figure car with a frame off restoration.
BUT BEFORE YOU CAN RESTORE ONE. YOU NEED TO FIND ONE
Study the photos they tell the story
This car will need a hood. the drivers door is rusted out on the bottom. the front floor pans are shot. I can not get into the trunk someone broke the lock out years ago. The frame looks solid from what I can see from the ground. The unique rear window is intact. The wheels are not the original wheels for the car. I do have the hubcaps and the skirts.
as I said earlier it is a TOTAL RESTORATION project

They will NEVER build cars like this again! it is an incredible piece of american history!
