1949 Fiat 500 C Topolino. The car prior to starting the restoration was clean with no rust. The floors are solid with no holes and the body was solid no rust holes. The frame was clean and not rusted.
Restoration to finish. Done to date:
1) Car has been totally disassembled for restoration and partially re assembled. The car rolls and steers.
2) Frame was sand blasted and repainted black.
3) Body was soda blasted and repaint turquoise. There was no rust and the body has no filler. Car was just painted to prevent rusting. The idea was to re-paint the car a original color at the end of the restoration.
4) Engine was totally re-built and installed in the car.
5) Transmission was totally re-built and installed in the car.
6) I have about 99% of the parts to finish the car. Most of the parts are new including seat covers. interior panels. convertible roof. I have all the glass for the car.
Most parts for this car a readily available online and are not hard to find.
All of the hard and dirty work has been done. Basically the body needs to be painted your choice of color and re assembled.
The car is located in Montreal Canada and can be shipped anywhere. The car is being sold with a Bill of Sale and a Quebec Certificate of Registration. Canada does not issue "Titles" for cars we use Registration Certificates. Most states will accept Canadian registration to "Title" a car in the US. Please check with your local DMV. The box for title in the listing is marked "Clear" because the car has no lean on the car. But this car does not have a US Title.
