1933 Rolls Royce Phantom II Barker Continental Sedanca.
Chassis number 2 PY
Registration number: KSL 512
A patinated car in very useable condition. 2 PY has just undergone a full engine rebuild at vast expense & is currently being run in by us. The engine work was undertaken by marque specialists Ristes & included a re-bore. new oversized pistons. a new head & just about everything else one might imagine for a full rebuilt. A vast selection of bills come with the car attesting to the work done on it. The Radiator has also just been re-cored by Vintage Wings & Radiators making for cool summer running.
The grey & black paint is in generally good condition & presents well. There is some age related cracking to the japanned leather roof covering. but it is still in serviceable
Coachwork is by Barker in the form of a sedanca de ville allowing for pleasant alfresco motoring. Two arms fold in from the sides & the cover over the drivers head then rolls up & stows away behind a door in the roof line. A large metal motoring trunk is fitted to the rear.
The interior of the car is grey velour to the rear & medium grey hide to the front. The interior woodwork is in good order & has art deco hints in its styling. Vanity alcove mirrors are fitted as is a rear privacy blind.
All in all a very useable continental at an entry level price. The car is in stock now & may be viewed by appointment.
