Finished in white over saddle MB TEX "pleather" interior. this lovely 99. 9% rust-free California classic has been driven just over 135. 00 miles since new.

It features a nice running 4. 5 liter V 8 engine mated to the factory three speed automatic transmission with stopping power provided by four wheel disc brakes. chrome 560 SL wheels with good rubber. both factory hard and soft tops. cold a/c. cd stereo and electric windows. This solid and stylish classic is a great value for less than the cost of the sales tax alone on a slightly used and quickly depreciating SL.

THE BODY AND TRIM

As I hope is articulated in the many photos here. the exterior of this 1979 Mercedes is in very good overall condition.

It is nearly perfectly rust-free with a nice lustrous shine to the paint finished accented by shiny original chrome and stainless trim pieces. As expected of a low-mileage 35 year-old classic. there are a few light blemishes. rock nicks. two patched wear spots on the soft top seams along with other minor imperfections to this very nice driver-quality example.

THE INTERIOR

The interior of this 1979 Benz is in very good to excellent original condition throughout! It sports excellent seat upholstery. nice soft top. cd stereo. electric windows and nice door panels and carpeting.

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE

This classic Benz start right up with strong and smooth running 4. 5 liter V 8 engine. smooth shifting automatic transmission. excellent braking and tight yet supple suspension.
